The trap bar puts the load in line with your body, which is why hex deadlifts and jumps build power with less lower-back cost. IRONWOD makes it two ways: the open half-frame you walk straight into - no straddling, and it doubles as a farmers-carry implement - and the classic closed hex. Both run 32 mm neutral grips and a 1,500 lb rating.
