The 1000D shell is double-sewn and closes with hook-and-loop, and the sand rides in inner filler bags so nothing leaks onto your floor. It ships empty - you fill it to weight with sand from a local supplier, so nothing heavy is shipped and one order covers a whole loading ladder from 50 lb to 200 lb.
